1. Insert batteries into the new remote
2. Hold down the "power" and "up arrow" buttons simultaneously until the LED lights up
3. Point the two remotes towards each other, max 5 cm apart
4. Hold down a button on the new remote until the LED indicator lights up constantly
5. Hold down the corresponding button on the old remote until the LED indicator flashes on the new one
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for all buttons on the new remote
